Comcast's Attempt at Civility

This article in today's Inquirer addresses Comcast's attempts at improving it's image.

I don't know about you, but the only company that has a more frustrating customer service experience is Verizon. I can't stand the rigamarole of "turn off your box for 30 seconds" that one needs to go through even before being able to address the problem. And it's never properly fixed when they DO come out. We've had problems with our HD service from the moment it was installed and no matter how often they come out, it never stays fixed for long. A few days max. And that's if they do manage to show up between the hours they say they'll be there, which last time did NOT happen. When I called to see where they were I was told we had been rescheduled for the next day and oh, they couldn't tell us when. Sigh.

I will believe it is a better run company when I see it. I'l give them 2 points for trying to monitor complaints at least - let's see if I get a response, huh? :)
