As always, we hit up Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival this year, and as always it was a huge hit. Though cold and a bit dreary, the weather was no match for the day's activities. The annual fashion show went off without a hitch, though judging from the outfits parading down the catwalk, we were a little sad we weren't brought onstage ourselves. There were the usual selction of tasty bites, most for $5 or less. And the highlight - the free cocktail lesson at the Steven Starr Restaurant Organization cooking demonstration tent. We arrived in time to scoop up some deelish lobster risotto and cheese leftover from the last demo, and sat down to samples of three delicious cocktails from the Continental Midtown - two of which are brand new!
If anyone has the recipe for the Bing Cherry Martini, please leave it in the comments - and we promise to make it next time you're over. It's like the Squirt, but kind of kicks its ass....
